Not all hate is created equal
When oppressors say, "I hate [group]," this most often means, "They should not be like that and/or they should not exist." When oppressed people say "I hate [dominant group]," what they are often expressing is, "They mistreat me so often, even ones who seem okay, that I never know whether I can trust them." The difference is that in the second case, the dominant group can make the situation better if they change their behavior. The oppressed group does not have this option.
